Bobby Has His Forever Home!

What a gift his family received! We miss you, Bobby!

Although loved by many and through no fault of his own, Bobby has yet to find his forever home. However, the extra time with Ever After has made him even more desirable. Our snuggly boy is well-versed in crate and doggy-door training. With all of his shots complete, Ever After takes him on frequent fieldtrips for leash training and social time. Bobby is great with other friendly dogs. He is more than ready for summer activities with a blessed family. Good grief, we love our Bobby! Meanwhile, Bobby’s siblings hit jackpot with their wonderful families - thank you for loving our Ever After Brady Bunch pups!

For these cuddle buddies, Snuggle Buggle time is a large pile of luscious fur vying for the best napping spot - Ever After laps. Elle also spoils her little ones with occasional nursing times and lots of outdoor play. She has such a beautiful way of teaching her puppies trust and independence. Although still working on the potty training, our Brady bunch is doing really well with crate training. Their forever families can look forward to a good night’s sleep right from the beginning.

Elle & Rex’s 1.29.23 Litter - 5 & 6 Weeks

Australian Labradoodle puppies.

Check out our Instagram for the family’s official Brady Bunch reel! Weeks five and six are so fun. The puppies wrestle and skip around the yard loving the freedom of the outdoors. Crate and doggy-door training begins. Mini grooms with cutting nails and clearing hair from eyes, private areas, and paw pads are essential along with bathing the muddy puppies - did we mention that they love the outdoors, ha! In the end, visitation week was just as fun for the staff of Ever After as it was for the puppies.

Elle & Rex’s 1.29.23 Litter - 3 & 4 Weeks

As you can see, the puppies had a busy two weeks. They hear their nursery’s Disney music now. Their wobbly legs are feeling more reliable with every passing day. Little barks and playful growls as they wrestle with no teeth give us a chuckle every time. Litter box training is right on schedule. Socialization (important from all ages) was made easy by eager help from family and friends. Ever After’s Instagram reel with Baby Lilly and the pups received 1000’s of views. So many little ones caught on video seemed too good to resist by folks all over the world. Can you guess where the puppies’ names came from?

Elle & Rex’s 1.29.23 Litter - 1 & 2 Weeks

The first two weeks are all about Ever After helping Mom recover from whelping and care for her puppies. Week one, these little miracles smell and feel their way to the milk bar while Mother nudges them close for warmth, cleaning, and nursing. Week two, the puppies start to deficate on their own and open their eyes - the ears will be next. Elle is a super mom who loves spending time with her pups. Their chubby tummies are proof. The pictures show birth weights and precious eyes getting their first peek at the world. Have you ever heard about “puppy breathe”? That combined with soft, squishy puppy snuggles is the absolute best!

Elle & Rex’s 1.29.23 Litter - Happy birthday!

Like her mother, Mila, Elle made it all look so easy. However, starting the birthday celebration at 1:15 A.M. broke Ever After’s streak of only waking-hour births. Family teamwork kept each of us awake and on our game though;) Most importantly, Elle gave birth to 6 healthy puppies - 3 girls (yellow, pink, lilac) and 3 boys (green, orange, blue). Way to control those chromosomes, Rex! Elle’s guardians are always conscientious about Elle’s training, grooming and weight. All contributed to Elle having another smooth delivery - thank you so much Jayne & Ted! Lastly, puppies are nursing well thanks to a dedicated momma.
